Anonymous said: So I looked up twlight oni and I think it was originally in English? Like I don't think it's a translation.

Ah, that would make sense. Thank you, Anonymous.

Anonymous said: How did famitsu get the full picture of ayumis death in a wrong end? Its not cut off unlike the game, and it shows everything. Is there one for Emi's CG?

Most likely Famitsu, as well as other gaming sites, were given the high quality CG event scenes from 5pb./MAGES themselves to use to promote the game. So it’s likely that they were resized when they got ported over to the PSP/Vita.

Here is one high quality art to be used as comparison, the crude picture as shown in Chapter 2 of Corpse Party (PSP):

^ In the game, this CG was resized to 480 x 272.

^ XSEED Games acquired a high quality image of this that they have used on the official website. It is 700 x 397.

Anonymous said: Hey guys. I know your probably all backed up with your current projects along with other miscellaneous stuff. Is there any possibility you guys could do a "re-translation" of the Ao Oni parody "Twilight Oni"? The horribly hilariously translation makes the game fun to play as is, but I would love to see how it would look translated normally.

If what Kylee Henke said is true in her playthrough of Twilight Oni, it seems that this game was originally written in Korean? If so, we cannot translate from Korean, only from Japanese to English.

Famitsu carefully selected some screenshots from Corpse Party to those wondering about the Corpse Party series in their recent article.
